While cleanliness has always been a top priority, both for hosts and guests, right now it is an especially critical, urgent and important issue due to the risk of spreading infection. Based on CDC recommendations, an extensive cleaning followed by disinfection of all elements and surfaces is necessary between reservations, due to which gaps between stays (check-ins and check outs) will be increased, as per requirements.
As a social distancing measure, we are happy to offer a system for self check-in and check out.
In order to help guests maintain a higher standard of cleanliness and hygiene, the apartment will be well-stocked with all the essential amenities, as well as cleaning appliances and products, plus some thoughtful extras like hand sanitizer, disposable gloves, wipes, extra towels and sheets..

The cleaning supplement of 65€ is a one time fee that is charged per stay. It includes the preparation of the apartment for your stay with a thorough cleaning and disinfection of all elements and surfaces of the apartment, replenishing of amenities, clean bed linen and towels so that everything is ready for your stay.
If you need a cleaner or domestic help like cooking or ironing during your stay, please let us know and we will help you to contact a trusted professional. The rate is 30€ for two hours (consult reduced rate for longer hours).
Is there Internet / WIFI?
Yes. Although there is a free community wifi, the apartment also offers its own private internet service (fibre optic internet) – this is available at no extra cost and the access details can be found on the fridge door.

We would like you to enjoy our area and it will be a pleasure to recommend / inform about events / activities / what’s going on, good snorkeling spots, where to eat, about shopping, where to get a massage, spa, entertainment options for your kids, even a special surprise for someone... we are here to help! And if there is something special you fancy or if you would like to design a different or custom plan, for example, going to the natural Calblanque beach reserve by boat, we could try to help you to organize it. Getting around / transport
Buses: There is a bus stop next to the church in Playa Honda. Line 20 goes to Cartagena.
Bicycles: The best way to enjoy this area. Bicycles can be dropped and picked up from your doorstep, which is a very comfortable arrangement. Please do not hesitate to ask me for information.

Access to the building:
This exclusive building is just 20 m from the beach. The building is situated within an enclosed compound with garden and relaxation areas. Simply walk out to be right on the beach. The property offers easy access at many different points and you can get in using two main entrances from the road, two entrances from the beach promenade, stairway access, elevator access, ramp access, using the video-phone system or the bell ringing system outside each block or from outside the building itself. The basement parking can be accessed through a ramp from the road and from there, elevators and stairways are available.
This building is located in the best spot that Playa Honda has to offer, with a marine walkway that connects Playa Honda with La Manga Camping & Caravaning, Mar de Cristal… on one side and Playa Paraiso and La Manga on the other side.

Why choose a legally registered holiday apartment?
Shorehouse is a legally registered tourist holiday apartment in compliance with Decree 75/2005, the Murcia Tourism Board and the Tax Department.
In Murcia, holiday houses are regulated by a Decree dated 2005 (D 75/2005 de 24 de Junio) and Shorehouse is legally registered as meeting the requirements of this decree for tourist use.
Tax authorities and the Murcia government are increasingly clamping down on undeclared (and therefore illegal) holiday rentals with heavy fines. The government aims to encourage the fully legal rental of holiday properties in a campaign against black money by imposing heavy fines on illegal lets, while at the same time guaranteeing quality accommodation for visitors, with regular inspections for maintaining these standards. In this way, the government has set standards for regulating the industry and to ensure that renters are protected when they do choose a private holiday rental and to also ensure that homeowners earning money through holiday rentals are declaring their income.
